BIB TREAT RETREAD MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Superior Tire Service uses the Michelin Bib Tread Retread Management System in our MRT facility. Bib Tread is a sophisticated system that tracks every tire casing with bar codes.

Information on each tire is collected at every stage of the retread process, including every repair made, the age and condition of the tire, and even when each step of the retread process was performed.

Bib Tread ensures that the tires are remanufactured exactly in accordance with the customers wishes, including strict enforcement of important restrictions such as maximum number of repairs and tire age.

Information collected using the Bib Tread system is provided to our customers on a regular schedule or on an as-needed basis. Examples of Bib Treads sophisticated reporting are below.
